This wedding at the lovely Domaine du Château de Collex is as romantic as you can imagine: a garden setting, surrounded by rolling hills in the Swiss countryside, and a beautiful venue for the guests to enjoy. I love the personal touches captured by Monika Breitenmoser Photography and the couple’s emphasis on creating an intimate and understated affair….

It’s no secret that my love for Swiss weddings just keeps on getting stronger… And when I see château weddings and editorials in Switzerland, I just want to jump for joy! It’s such a great alternative to France and Italy for couple’s wanting a destination wedding in Europe. The history, the romance, it’s just all so beautiful.
In the middle of Geneva’s countryside, overlooking the majestic Jura and Mont Blanc, Domaine du Château de Collex dates back to 1700s. The property has 13 acres of vineyards, with wines produced and bottled at the domaine.
The bride and groom married in an emotional ceremony officiated by Coeur au Carre with all their closest family and friends. The blooms created by Atelier Lilas et Rose had me in awe of the delicate textures and muted gentle tones… It added the sweetest hues into this beautiful collection of images.
