I’m starting this week admiring the lush greenery and elegant timelessness of today’s greenhouse wedding. Photographed by Marko Marinkovic, all the organic, nature-driven details planned, conceived, created, and executed by Cake & Confetti Events were intended to complement the venue, rather than compete. I absolutely love the balance of greenery and the romantic, whimsical blooms dreamed up by Cake & Confetti Events. Perfect for an elegant affair, this greenhouse location in Rapperswil-Jona exudes natural romance…

This wedding is the perfect inspiration for a bride who loves nature. Looking for the perfect alternative to an open air wedding? Enea Baummuseum houses an English garden-inspired orangery. The glass pavilion has a seven meter high glass ceiling and features a huge, beautiful chandelier at the center. From the orangery, the view extends to the entire tree museum, framed by a field elm and cypress trees. Doesn’t that sound lovely? I especially love that the venue brings the outdoors inside… You have all the benefits of an outdoor wedding without having to worry about heat or a rain plan!
Using natural colours and textures in the light filled orangery, Cake & Confetti Events opted for a clean and unfussy concept that is beautiful, yet modern and clean. They worked to bring the colours and elements of the tree museum inside to create a consistent colour palette throughout the reception space. If you are a bride to be looking for inspiration for your big day, be sure to pin your favorites because this style won’t be going out of style anytime soon…
