Intimate St Petersinsel Switzerland Wedding

If you’re unfamiliar with the area, Sankt Petersinsel (Île Saint-Pierre) is a small, quiet peninsula situated on Lake Biel in the canton of Bern. Political theorist Jean-Jacques Rousseau said he spent the happiest time of his life on Sankt Petersinsel. The 11th-century monastery where he resided is now a renowned restaurant and hotel, which is where the couple held their wedding. I love that the bride designed most of the wedding herself — you can really sense that it added to the intimacy and authenticity of the ceremony.
