When I decided to start this blog, I knew I wanted to feature this wedding in the Lavaux region of Switzerland. There are so many gorgeous details — from the bride’s breathtaking gown to the vistas across the lake and terraced vineyards. The light and airy photographs of this summer celebration are some of my favorites wedding images. I can just imagine the good times their family and friends had at this stunning wedding! Check out this beautiful wedding in all of its glory by photographer Christina Brosnan of Brosnan Photographic…

How did the couple choose to have their wedding in the Lavaux region of Switzerland? As the couple recently moved to Switzerland, they decided to marry in their new hometown. What an incredible way to share your new home with family and friends! After marrying in Eglise St. Saphorin, the couple hosted a drinks reception at Patrick Fonjallaz where the couple’s guests enjoyed the views, a few glasses of wine, and good food before the evening’s festivities.

Later that night, the couple and their guests headed to the Grand Hôtel du Lac in Vevey, Switzerland. As the couple loves food, the hotel, renowned for its Michelin star food, was a perfect choice for their dinner and celebration.

One of my favorite parts of this wedding is the bride and groom’s amazing sense of style. The bride wore a dream dress — a light blue lace Oscar de la Renta gown. In another personal touch, she carried a king protea bouquet, a nod to the groom’s South African heritage.
A big thank you to Christina of Brosnan Photographic for sharing this classic, chic, and timeless celebration. This wedding really shows off the charm and natural beauty of the Lavaux, don’t you think?
