Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today, I’m sharing a sweet and simple, albeit stunning, civil ceremony in Zurich. The intimacy of a civil ceremony gets me right in my feels, every single time! I immediately adored the chemistry between the lovebirds, the light-filled images, and, of course, the couple’s romantic stroll through the city streets of Zurich. Thanks to the massively talented Brianna Vögeli, we get to enjoy this sweet Zurich civil ceremony. So keep scrolling to witness it all below…

Due to COVID-19 and the current pandemic, couples are choosing more and more to pursue smaller, more intimate wedding celebrations. With fewer guests, a civil ceremony offers couples the chance to simplify the celebration by providing a more intimate environment.
In this case, the couple had all the flexibility to route their day with their photographer and most importantly… with each other. Following their civil ceremony, the couple enjoyed an informal drinks reception with their closest loved ones by their side. It’s a truly beautiful union, and I cannot wait for you to experience it all through Brianna’s lens!
In Zurich, civil ceremonies take place at the Stadthaus, the city’s town hall. Built between 1989 and 1900 in a Neo-Renaissance style, the Stadthaus hosts regular cultural exhibitions in addition to marriages. The Stadthaus’ beautiful archways and architecture make for a beautiful backdrop to a Zurich civil ceremony.
