Want to have the perfect Geneva elopement? Sometimes the notion of a an elopement crosses your mind. If you are wanting to make your planning easier, your budget smaller, and only invite the guests who are the most important to you, an elopement may be for you. One of our favorite wedding planners HEDHERA has created the perfect Geneva elopement to show how you can have a romantic lakeside wedding with ease.
I adore elopements. Full of romance, intimacy and (let’s be real) lack of stress, it’s easy to see why so many modern brides and grooms are choosing this special way to tie the knot! It is also an opportunity to create incredibly beautiful images, have fun with your wedding day fashion, and capture a unique destination or city you love. For this Geneva elopement inspiration, HEDHERA and photographer Thomas Audiffren embrace the beauty of the city and lake while showcasing a gorgeous couple in love.
The editorial starts with the couple walking together, feet in the water, with the bride’s hair and dress in the wind. After a romantic moment on the beach, HEDHERA chose Park La Grange for the portrait session. I love the baroque and luxurious architecture that sets the background of these photos!
Dressed in a beautiful backless gown from Lauren Créations, the bride accessorized with stunning, unique jewelry from So Hélo. The hair and makeup by Marine Beauty Artist was elegant and refined, matching the bride’s look perfectly. A classic yet bold bouquet with pops of violet by Miss Acacia completed the bridal look. Meanwhile, the dapper groom donned a classic suit from Blandin & Delloye. Swiss-based Kinfolk Events provided the lovely rentals and vintage decor for the reception table by the lake. Bonjour Paper, specializing in refined stationery, created a beautiful and elegant stationery suite in line with the theme and color palette.
I think you’ll agree that there is so much to be inspired by in this editorial shoot…
