If you’re looking for engagement session inspo, then stop right here! When photographer Monika Breitenmoser dropped this engagement session in St. Saphorin into my inbox, my jaw dropped! If you’re looking for a timeless, nature-bound background for your engagement shoot, consider the Lavaux and all it’s stunning beauty. Because nature never goes out of style…
The terraced vineyards of the Lavaux, which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage, are one of Switzerland’s most beautiful regions. St. Saphorin is a historic and sun-drenched village clinging to the steep Lavaux hillsides between the vineyards and the lake and opposite the grandiose Alps. Don’t you love this beautiful village?!
It was no surprise that photographer Monika Breitenmoser‘s images turned out so, so gorgeous. The light in these photos is a treat, and the grounds are beautiful!
Some couples aren’t sure if it’s necessary to take engagement photos, and while it is entirely optional, there are so many reasons why you should do it! In addition to having keepsake photos from your time as an engaged couple and to use on everything from your wedding website to your save-the-dates, they’ll also give you an opportunity to get comfortable with your photographer and having your photos taken before the wedding!
